Yeo Han-koo is a former South Korean trade minister and veteran negotiator, having served as Minister for Trade under President Moon Jae-in from 2021 to 2022 and reappointed in 2025 to lead critical tariff negotiations with the United States. With nearly three decades in public service, his expertise spans global trade agreements including RCEP, CPTPP, and the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, complemented by senior roles at the World Bank and as a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
