Mr. Whitworth served in the Central Intelligence Agency for over two decades, working as the chief of multiple analytic units focused on East Asia. He served multiple tours in CIA Stations in East and Southeast Asia, and is considered a leading voice in the intelligence community on Taiwan-China relations. Prior to joining the CIA, Mr. Whitworth served as a U.S. Marine with multiple deployments to East and Southwest Asia.
