Victoria Coates is a distinguished American government official who served as Deputy National Security Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa from 2019 to 2020 in the Trump administration, where she led critical initiatives including the Maximum Pressure Campaign against Iran and helped initiate the historic Abraham Accords negotiations. Prior to this, she held senior roles on the National Security Council as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Strategic Assessments, coordinating NSC policy and communications on Middle East peace and security.
