Tymofiy Mylanov

Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine

Tymofiy Mylovanov is a leading Ukrainian economist who served as the Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine from August 2019 to March 2020 under Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk. With a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and extensive academic tenure at institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh, Mylovanov is renowned for his research in game theory, contract theory, and institutional design, along with his role as co-founder of VoxUkraine, a platform advancing economic discourse in Ukraine. After his ministerial role, he was appointed president of the Kyiv School of Economics, where he continues to influence economic policy and development in Ukraine.
