Rafael Bardají served as National Security Advisor to Spain’s former prime minister José María Aznar from 1996-2004. He also served as Executive Advisor to Ministers of Defense Eduardo Serra and Federico Trillo. Bardají was the founder and Director of the Grupo de Estudios Estratégicos (GEES) and later the Director of Foreign Policy at FAES, both global affairs think tanks in Madrid. He is a member of the strategic advisory board of NATO Special Operations Forces Command and the Atlantic Council. He is currently the CEO of World Wide Strategy, a Miami-based consultancy.
