Matthew Moneyhon

Matthew Moneyhon is co-Founder and Managing Partner at Ergo. He manages the firm’s Consulting and Due Diligence businesses. Previously he worked for Gerson Lehrman Group, the U.S. State Department, the United Nations, and a range of academic and policy-oriented organizations. He has published papers on a variety of topics, ranging from strategies to improve U.S. public diplomacy to the political and social impact of economic development in China. Matthew graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas, where he was a College of Liberal Arts Distinguished Scholar; earned a JD and MA (Chinese Studies) from the University of Hawaii, where he was an East-West Center degree fellow; and holds a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University. He serves on the board of the Defense Language Institute Foundation and speaks Mandarin.
