Gen. Amos Yadlin
Chief, IDF Military Intelligence Directorate (2006-10)
In his 40 years of service for the Israel Defense Forces, Amos Yadlin spent ten years as a member of the IDF’s General Staff, five years as head of the Military Intelligence Directorate (2006-2010), and two years as the Military Attaché to the United States (2004-2006). In an operational capacity, Amos Yadlin was a Deputy Commander of the Israeli Air Force. After his time in the IDF, Amos Yadlin served as the Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies, the primary national security think tank in Israel, from 2011 to 2021.
