Evan Pressman is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Ergo. Evan leads Ergo’s geopolitical and economic forecasting community, the Flashpoints Forum, which guides top business and government leaders through this era’s sudden acceleration of global challenges and upheaval. Before Ergo, Evan helped build the geopolitical risk division of Gerson Lehrman Group, the world’s largest expert network business. He was previously a journalist at CNN, where he was part of a team which received an Emmy award for coverage of the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York. He has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the NationSwell Council, and a Truman National Security Fellow. Evan has degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where he was the John H. Hedges Fellow in Public Diplomacy, and Haverford College.
