Bob Bauer is a highly influential American attorney who served as White House Counsel to President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2011 and was the general counsel for Obama’s 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns. Known for his exceptional legal acumen and political savvy, Bauer co-chaired the Presidential Commission on Election Administration and has played key roles in major political legal battles, including advising President Biden’s 2020 campaign and serving as co-chair of a 2021 commission on Supreme Court reform.
