Alastair Coutts is Managing Director and Head of Ergo’s International business. He is responsible for the expansion of Ergo’s unique Flashpoint Forum forecasting offering and Custom Consulting work across the multiple financial, corporate and governmental client segments that Ergo serves. Alastair has > 25 years of leadership experience working in financial and professional services, supporting clients across investment management, consulting firms and corporates. He started his career at Merrill Lynch (in London and Sydney) and spent 14 years at GLG (in London and Zurich), and most recently worked for a geopolitical advisory firm based in London. Alastair has a BA Economics from the University of Manchester and a Masters in International Relations from Johns Hopkin SAIS.
